ABOUT
Hey!
I’m Jan from Stuttgart, and I’ve been exploring the world of abstract art for a few years now. I draw inspiration from all sorts of things – from different styles and designs to the beauty of everyday life. Instead of following fleeting trends, I focus on timeless uniqueness.
It all started when my mother gave me a blank canvas as a housewarming gift for my new apartment. Since then, I’ve been constantly working on my skills, discovering new sides of myself and my art. I’ve learned to appreciate the value of craftsmanship and find the freedom that drives me in the creative process.
In my latest works, I subtly capture everyday moments, surfaces and textures. It’s not about replicating the original exactly but rather representing it in an abstract way and showcasing the beauty of the ordinary. Inspiration and aesthetics are everywhere – it‘s all about the right perspective. If my art helps to find and foster that perspective, I’m very happy.

MATERIAL
For my works, I use high-quality canvases made in Germany (a blend of polyester and cotton, 285 g/m²) on a sturdy stretcher frame made of spruce wood (19x35 mm). Additionally, each picture is framed in a robust floating frame made of oak wood.
